M.A.L.E. Scholarship: companies invest in doctors' education, with no obligation for them

How clinics can send their doctors to Black Sea Royale 2027 with a ticket provided by a partner company.

Starting with the 2027 edition, M.A.L.E. - Meet the Aesthetic and Longevity Experts is launching the M.A.L.E. Scholarship: a simple and transparent way for partner companies to offer doctors a ticket to the congress. The doctor applies for free, the company chooses to whom it offers the scholarship, and the ticket comes with no obligation whatsoever for the doctor.

Where the idea came from

Every year, companies in aesthetic medicine tell us the same thing: they want new collaborations with clinics and wish to invest in the training of the doctors they already work with or would like to work with. A well-trained doctor means safer treatments, satisfied patients and a professional relationship built on trust.

Until now, the path from this intention to a doctor sitting in the hall was a cumbersome one: the company had to find out which doctors wanted to attend, contact them one by one, negotiate and buy tickets separately. Many doctors, in turn, did not know that a company could cover their participation.

The M.A.L.E. - Meet the Aesthetic and Longevity Experts Scholarship brings the two sides together, directly on the congress website. Doctors who want to come to M.A.L.E. express their interest, and partner companies see who they are and can offer them the ticket.

What is the M.A.L.E. - Meet the Aesthetic and Longevity Experts Scholarship

The scholarship is a congress ticket that one of the edition's partner companies offers to a doctor. In short:

• the doctor applies for free, from their account on the website, in just a few minutes;
• their professional profile becomes visible to the edition's partner companies, in the portal dedicated to them;
• each company decides on its own, based on its own criteria, which doctor to offer the scholarship to, within the number of tickets it has available;
• the doctor receives the ticket, which shows the company that offered it.

The scholarship covers the congress ticket. What the ticket includes (the conference, workshops, other benefits) depends on the ticket type allocated by the company.

For a clinic, the M.A.L.E. - Meet the Aesthetic and Longevity Experts Scholarship is an opportunity to send its team to an international congress, alongside experts from all over the world, without straining the training budget. At the same time, it can be a natural first step towards a collaboration with companies in the field.

Our recommendation for clinics is simple: encourage your doctors to create an account on the M.A.L.E. website and apply for the scholarship. The more complete their profile (specialty, clinic, experience, interests), the easier it is for companies to understand who they are and why they deserve support.

If a company wants to build a relationship with the clinic, for example a commercial partnership or a training programme, the discussion takes place between the company and the clinic, as legal entities. The doctor is not a party to this discussion, and accepting the scholarship does not commit them to anything.

Steps for doctors

1. Go to the M.A.L.E. - Meet the Aesthetic and Longevity Experts website at www.male-conference.ro and click "Create account". Fill in your professional details: specialty, country, city, the clinic or institution where you work and your years of experience.
2. Confirm your email address using the message you receive, then log in.
3. Open the "Participation Scholarships" section. You will find it on the website's homepage and in the Black Sea Royale 2027 edition menu.
4. Check the displayed profile (name, email, specialty, country). If anything is missing, click "Edit profile" and complete it.
5. Choose your preferred ticket type, if you wish. Companies see your preference when deciding to whom they offer the scholarship.
6. Click "Submit application". From this moment, your status becomes "Your application is active", and partner companies can see your profile.
7. Wait for a response. A company may contact you to present its intention and contact details. When you are offered the scholarship, your status changes to "A company has offered you a scholarship".
8. You are registered. Once the company assigns the ticket to you, your status becomes "Registered" and your participation in the congress is confirmed.

Good to know

• You can withdraw your application at any time, as long as no company has offered you the scholarship yet, and you can apply again later.
• Once a company has offered you the scholarship, the application can no longer be withdrawn from the website. If you can no longer attend or no longer wish to, write to us at office@meettheexperts.ro.
• Applying does not guarantee a scholarship: the number of tickets offered depends on each company.

The scholarship ticket can be upgraded

The scholarship does not limit the doctor's congress experience. If a company offers a basic ticket, for example conference access only, and the doctor wants more (hands-on workshops, accommodation or other benefits included in higher-tier tickets), the ticket received through the scholarship can be upgraded to a higher-tier ticket, as long as that ticket is still on sale.

1. Log into your account and go to "My Tickets".
2. Click "Upgrade" on the ticket received through the scholarship.
3. Choose the new ticket from those currently on sale.
4. Pay online by card only the difference between the current prices of the two tickets.

The difference is calculated exactly as for any other participant: only the current price of the two tickets matters, not the fact that the first one was offered by a company. The upgrade is paid by the doctor (or their clinic), and the company that offered the scholarship is under no obligation to cover the difference.

What happens on the companies' side

The edition's partner companies have access, with a dedicated account, to the Sponsor Portal on the website. There, in the "Participation Scholarships" section:

• in the "Candidates" tab, they see the doctors who have applied, with their specialty, clinic, experience, interests and desired ticket;
• they can contact the doctors to present their intention;
• they click "Offer scholarship" for the chosen doctor, within the ticket quota set for their company;
• in the "Offered Scholarships" tab, they choose the ticket and click "Register with ticket", and the doctor is thus registered for the congress;
• they can cancel an offered scholarship as long as the doctor has not yet been registered.

Every action is kept in the application history, so the M.A.L.E. - Meet the Aesthetic and Longevity Experts team can check at any time who offered a scholarship and when.

No obligations for doctors

This is the principle we never deviate from:

• A doctor who receives a scholarship has no obligation whatsoever towards the company that offered it, nor towards M.A.L.E. - Meet the Aesthetic and Longevity Experts: they do not have to buy, recommend or use the company's products, and they do not sign anything.
• Scholarships are not conditional on any agreement, let alone a contractual one. The company offers the ticket as an investment in medical education, not in exchange for an advantage, and in doing so assumes no obligation towards M.A.L.E.
• If a company wishes to enter into an agreement or contract, this is done exclusively between legal entities, for example between the company and the clinic, and never with the doctor as an individual.
• The doctor retains, at all times, their professional independence and the freedom to choose the treatments and products they consider appropriate for their patients.

Transparency and data protection

When a doctor applies for the scholarship, their professional and contact details become visible to the edition's partner companies. The doctor may choose not to share their data with sponsors, but in that case they cannot benefit from the scholarship: a company cannot support a doctor it does not know.

The data stays with M.A.L.E. - Meet the Aesthetic and Longevity Experts and is not sold to anyone for commercial purposes. All details can be found in the Privacy Policy on the website.

How much does it cost to apply for the scholarship?

Nothing. Both the account and the application are free of charge.

Can I apply if I do not work in a clinic that partners with a company?

Yes. Any doctor can apply. The scholarship is also a way for companies to discover new clinics and doctors.

Will I know which company offered me the scholarship?

Yes. The company that offered the ticket appears on it and may contact you directly.

Do I have to sign anything with the company?

No. The scholarship does not require any document signed by the doctor. Any agreement, if there is one, is concluded between the company and the clinic, as legal entities.

The ticket I received through the scholarship only includes the conference. Can I also attend the workshops?

Yes. From "My Tickets" you can upgrade to a higher-tier ticket, paying only the price difference.

What happens if I can no longer come?

Write to us as early as possible at office@meettheexperts.ro, so that the ticket can be offered to another doctor.
